Solution Orphanage Shelter for Deprived Children aka “Solution Home” was initiated September 1, 2015 in Ondo town, Ondo State, Nigeria. The first child was rescued and brought into the home in July 2016. Pastor Ignatius Chiadika and his wife, Dr. Simbo Chiadika, felt the Lord leading them to open a home for children after hearing many heart breaking accounts of parents dying prematurely in Nigeria and leaving young children orphaned, abandoned and wandering on the streets. During a visit to the US, Simbo’s parents expressed great concern about many young children being left desolate and uncared for after the untimely death of their parents. Simbo’s parents had taken in 2 children from such deceased distant relatives and were dismayed at the lack of sufficient public and private provisions for these children in Nigeria as is the case for many third world countries. After much prayer, Pastor Ignatius and Simbo felt the guidance to establish a home in Africa to help this children.
Solution Home was founded to help provide a healthy Christian home and upbringing to these precious children. The vision the Lord gave was to target these abandoned children who have no other options or hope. We seek to provide a loving, safe and educational environment to these children from childhood to college age. These children would otherwise die of starvation, illness or abuse in this society. We pray for the grace to raise Christ loving, and well-rounded children to God’s glory who will go forth and be an extension of God’s love in their generations.
How You Can Help
We currently have 5 children in the Home, ranging from 5 months to 8 years old. There are 6 full-time staff members who provide around-the-clock care to the children in rotations. There are many other children who we desire to take into the Home as there is great need in the area.
Solution Home is registered with the Federal Corporate affairs Commission of Nigeria. Your financial support is needed for this Home. Please use the Donation icon at the top of this page to make a donation to Solution House Church Ministries – a 501(c)(3) corporation.
